Our Mission
At our nonprofit senior center, we focus on strength, wellness, and socialization to help you live a fulfilling life.
At Active Aging Wellness you can expect a variety of free fitness classes tailored to any level; as well as weekly activities within our center and partnering centers to build strong bonds throughout our platte county community.

We are committed to the overall health and well-being of older adults by giving you the tools you need to stay healthy and active.
Join Book Club!
Active Aging Wellness Book Club meets once a month. All books provided through Mid-Continent Public Library Platte City branch.
Books can be picked up and returned for free at the senior center.
Meetings hosted with light refreshments, good company, and deep conversation.

Where are you located?
We serve adults living in Platte County and surrounding areas. Located at 2600 NW Prairie View Rd Suite C, Platte City, MO
What ages are eligible to be members?
We are a Senior Center for all!
Our services are geared towards ages 60+. Activities and classes are tailored to meet the needs and abilities of older adults.
Can I try a class if I'm a beginner?
Absolutely, movements can be modified to your own strengths and weaknesses. All levels are welcomed and supported.
What services are offered for free?
All of our services and classes are offered free for ages 60+.
We host yoga, strength & balance, and dance classes. Bingo and crafts are offered weekly.

When are you open?
Active Aging Wellness center is open 9am-2pm, Monday- Friday. Walk-ins are welcome anytime!
